Location was key for me. Only a 15-minute walk from the Hiroshima station and close to the Atomic Bomb Dome and memorial park. The capsule design was well thought out. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, and having the social areas separate from the sleeping spaces helped me relax. Staff were extremely helpful when I needed directions and recommendations. Limited interaction but they were always ready to help. However, the mattress felt a bit too hard for my sleep preference, making it difficult to get comfortable at night. Air circulation in the capsule was poor, making it warm. I had to open the curtain a bit for some airflow, but it stayed manageable. Not having USB ports in the capsule for charging devices was disappointing. Plus, I noticed the shoes-off policy made moving around a bit cumbersome, especially since the floor didn’t feel very clean. Overall, I left with a memorable experience but some room for improvement in comfort and amenities.

The capsule design allows for excellent privacy during your stay. However, the beds felt a bit hard for comfort.

Well-designed capsule layout enhances privacy and comfort.
The mattress was uncomfortably thin, making sleep difficult. There was also a problem with noise from other guests adjusting their luggage in the dormitory. The air circulation system above my capsule was loud, requiring earplugs to sleep.

Comfy and Clean Stay
I stayed 3 nights here and really loved the vibe. The capsules were super clean and comfy, with fresh towels daily. I enjoyed chilling in the shared lounge area. it was cozy and not noisy at all. Just a bummer that the mattress was kinda firm for my taste, and it was a bit of a trek from the train station.

The beds were super comfy, and I really enjoyed the daily care package with pajamas and towels! I loved hanging out in the cozy TV room and relaxing in the lounge area in between my adventures. The only downside was the slightly hard mattress, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. Highly recommend trying out the unique capsule experience! 😊

The Superior Capsule Room was surprisingly comfy! The adjustable beds were a game changer, and I actually got some good sleep. The design of the bathroom and shower areas was well thought out, super clean. It felt pampering with all the amenities provided. However, the capsule was a little warm at times, and the shoes-off policy made it awkward to navigate.
